Hot Pink Lime and Lavender Massage Bar

I found the coolest silicone placemat or whatever it's intensional purpose was and cut it to fit my soap mould.  My first crack at making this work was a bit intimidating to figure out how to get it to stay straight inside.  With help from the hubby man cave I found some clamps and also a bulldog clip and hair clamp to hold the sides in place.  The silicone is the red lining.  I used a standard soap recipe and mixed in neon purple, pink clay, pumice stone, bentonite clay .
I used lavender eo in the neon purple mix and natures garden hot pink lime fragrance in the pink clay mix.  The rest of the batch I added the bentonite clay and the pumice and left it plain.  Alternating colour I poured it in and and swirled it with a skewer here's the result and love the spicy hot scent!  My purpose for this soap was to make a foot massage bar.  I think it's beautiful.  Check it out

Smelly Dawg Remedy Soap

How I have wanted to make this soap!  A dog shampoo that was both safe for our furry friends and also benificial to our dogs as well.  I found a recipe on Pinterest and said that's it!  Tomato Soap.  Tomato is a superfood as I've found doing my research.  It helps acne, draws toxins from skin,  is liver detoxifying, aids in weight loss....I could have had a V8!!! And as an old time remedy for being an odor buster when it comes to dogs versus skunks !  It's like magic.  Skunk spray is so sulphuric that it paralyzes our noses and so when we take tomato juice and wash our dogs to remove the sulphur, the tomatos sweet scent tricks our nose into smelling the tomato juice not the skunk.  It masks the smell.  That's just part of this soap.  I made it with real tomato and puréed it. Froze into ice cubes and slowly mixed my lye to not burn the tomato.  Add little bit lye and stir your cubes it will start melting the ice cubes then a little more, stir, little more.
Doing it this way keeps the red colour doing it all at once burns it and your soap will be brown. To read the rest of this fabulous recipe like my FB page as the posts for this soap is extensive.   https://www.facebook.com/naturestouchorganicsoap/posts/744095689042789
If you look close you can see the red flecks of tomato in the soap. Beautiful colour!
Oils used in this soap olive, coconut , castor, red palm, shea  butter, unscented.  All vegan, no animal by products ever here! You can wash your dog at the lake no harm done.
Save all your Little Ceaser dog food containers and wash and sterilize them.  Perfect for this project and totally recyclable!  I love these !!! Here's the finished soap
Love the demention of the finished bars !
All of the ingredients provide odor removing  properties, shiny fur and coat.  Anti itching too for your dogs skin health.  This recipe is a keeper! Please like my page to get the full story on this and more as well as checking out my website to order your soap and craft making supplies and more! .  Thanks for looking and Happy Soaping!  http://naturestouch.topofthelineproducts.com

Come up close.  You will see the bubbles and the beautiful natural red flecks of the tomato in the bar.  Stunning ! I walked Little Blue Marty after a long day in the Soap office (13 hours) I am the everything here.  Love it tho.  Anyways we came home and gave this soap a try.  May as well be the product tester too.  And.,,,, lather, bubbles, the orange of the palm blead out a bit but washed away nicely.  And Marty is clean, he's licking his paws but not to worry nothing is going to hurt him because there is no chemicals at all in this soap.  He's shiny and no wet dog smell.  I'm very stoked!
I'm hoping this soap will be in store soon.  K9 Delights Bakery in Thunder Bay just got a free bar.  I hope they consider me.  Thanks Janice and Suzanne in advance. Happy Tails!!!! Till next time.

Make Soap, Make Crafts get Supplies here

Hello everyone who has been following me along with my blog.  I see I have five followers I wish I had more.  In time I suppose that will come.  I gave up as you know for a couple of years with the passing of my dad and my favorite dog and went into a depression.  Well I snapped out of that and I am glad that the good Lord above and prayer and support from my family and friends saw me and helped me and encouraged me to not give up on my dreams.  If you don't try things never happen.  So after a year now of promoting my own self I keep diving into projects that I see might be to my advantage.  My goal is to Work and Play at home.  So here is the plug
http://naturestouch.topofthelineproducts.com/                                                      We all love shopping right?  Right.  Do we like to stand in line? NO.  I hate shopping in the brick and mortar I hate, and that's a strong word, on my day off getting dressed, getting in my car, driving to the Walmart or grocery store walking around buying things I don't need, spending more money then I should.  Period.  life is too busy to be running around every day especially on our days off.  Work week alone is enough, never mind shopping.  So that said, lets look at the other choices.  STAY HOME, surf the net, check our Facebook, write our blogs, PIN on Pinterest,  get good deals on the web, all while sitting in my pjamas with a cup of coffee and new dog Marty by my side.

I have tried my hand at Shop.com meh, its confusing to me and I had to order a seller package that cost me $150 not happy about that, but I did get quality makeup so I am just using it.  But costly.  Then I came acrossa site that I saw as promising.  AMAZON.  Its the number one site for searching for everything.  Literally.  I love making soap and I can order at good prices, my ingredients, my equipment, by resource books,  my oils, my moulds, my everything.  So I joined up as an affiliate.  Now I can pass that on to you.  Join me at http://naturestouch.topofthelineproducts.com buy your supplies here, order online, make soap, have fun, stay in your pjamas and have it delivered to your door,  You too can become an affiliate get a website, start making money online doing the things you love.  Enough of my rant  check it out, Amazon is worldwide

Bug B Gone!!!

Pink Neon
Orange Neon!! Bug B Gone fragrance and funnel poured.
Hard to see the alternate colours because it's so bright.  I wanted this bug dope soap bright and sunny for summer time camp. I think I achieved that here.  When it hardens up I will come back here and post the result.  I made this last year and even just using the bar as a rub on like a lotion kept the bugs away.  I am a camp lover but always got eaten alive and was always  itchy and scratchy.  Sometimes depending on what bit me I'd swell up.  Not last year I used this everytime I bathed or showered.  I used it in my hair too and because it's all natural we used it in the lake.  Environmentally Safe.
And then with my Repelfly salve we were laughing at the bugs!  It works.  With Health Canada banning citronella in aerosols it doesn't effect the use in handmade soaps.  We were worried because without it you could not survive in the woods without being eaten alive.  The mosquitoes up north here drive you back indoors!!!  I was so relived that I could still obtain the ingredients from my supplier.  And with some left over I made a Solo Cup with a bath Scrunchie.  Saw these on Pinterest had to make one.
Fun
The Solo Cups are huge.  If I'm
Going to sell these my retail $25.00 this will last you all summer

I posted this earlier in a seperate post but here's the salve.  I keep one in my bag at all times.  Ingredients, I used a basic soap recipe, olive , coconut , castor , crisco new with palm, coconut milk, distill water, sodium hydroxide, Bug B Gone.  Last year I sold these bars at $6.50 this year you want you gotta pay price increase to $12 you ain't gonna get it anywhere like this.  I couldn't make enough of them.  Sold out everytime.  Come back and see the results 12-24 hours for saponify time.  Done wasn't that a party!!!! Till next time.

Repelfly DIY

My dad always had a container of Repelfly in his tackle box it was the best bug dope ever !  You can't get it anymore because of the ban on deet.  I still have his old container.  I saved it out of everything in his tackle box.   When he passed away,  that's what I kept.  My dad was an avid fisherman and hunter loved camping and outdoors.  That's how he raised myself and my sister.  We would be gone every weekend.  Repelfly was made in Nipigon, Ontario,  Canada an hour away from me in Thunder Bay.  Made by a couple of men who came up with the formula this was the stuff !!! So in honor of my dad and all of us who suffer from biting insects,  I've come up with my own version.  I made this last year and it kept us bug free!!!
Made with coconut oil, shea butter , cocoa butter, orange butter, crisco new w/palm, Vaseline, and Bug B Gone which contains citronella and litsea cubeba oil (Japanese Lemon) and beeswax.  Melted together and then refrigerated overnight to cool into a salve.  Packed into lip balm jars with a screw lid, these make for a perfect tackle box, backpack, purse size, golf bag size to travel with you when you need it it's handy and it works!!!! I sell these for $5 retail.  It's a Big Bang in a small jar!!! Since citronella is banned from aerosol sprays, I have the relief product.  Want just send me a message I'll send it.

Fish cloth bath mitts

Saw this in Pinterest and wanted some to pair up with some summertime soaps.  Found a lady Laurie who knitted them for me I got ten to start love them !!!! Now to get the soap going to match them all!!
Fish cloth with a hook for hanging!!! I think a bright bug b gone soap would look just fab with these !!!! So what I did was go to the fabric store picked out matching  felt squares and cut out the fish pattern and sewed them with clear invisible thread.  Like fishing line.  Can't see it, perfect.  I hand sewed them together to make a bath mitt.  Fun !!! I'm selling the mitt and Bug B Gone soap set for $20.00 Cdn set

Travel Size body butter cream

I have a client who ordered the orange body butter and wanted one to put in her purse I found some cute containers at the dollar store to use for now.  Shea butter, cocoa butter, orange butter, coconut oil. Orange powder, cornstarch.  Fragrance free.  It just sinks into your skin.  I've been using it on my dry winter skin and I actually feel my skin is softer.  Good stuff.  I'm retailing this for $6.50
