Contest Winner

Last December I had a contest to name my new skin bar.  The contest ran until December 31 st.  Here's the bar
It's is similar to the Eqyptian Nite Skin Repair only difference is the activated charcoal I have keeps turning grey and muted like stone. So I needed to call it something else as it's not turning black ????? At first I wasn't happy but after getting wet from using one for myself it kept looking more like a stone.  That's when I loved it! Here's mine
Kool! So I ran a contest to name the new bar.  I had a bit of feedback on it from my FB page veiwers and the name that won was "Mosaic Magic" I absolutely loved that name because I embedded cut up pieces of older soaps that I had made.  So each bar has a little bit of goodness from everything that I put into my soaps and with activated charcoal these are skintastic!!! The winner whose name is Janice, gets one of these and also a Valentines soap made to match but just fragrant free and just activated charcoal.  In this contest a name popped up Dark Love I liked the Dark part and came up with Dark Nite, the Acne Warrior.  These are the muted grey charcoal soaps done into new heart shaped silicone mold.
Janice gets one of these too !! Made with olive, castor, shea butter, cocoa butter, palm oil, distill water, sodium hydroxide.  Activated Charcoal.  They smell like coconut a bit from that ingredient.  Just plain beautiful!
I had to make more. Great for Valentines.  Stay tuned there's more to come.  I've been busy

Foxy Roxy Valentines Soap

I'm loving my heart silicone mold.  Tonight I crock potted  (is that even a word ?) all my tiger bar scraps and shavings which I've been saving since last summer. French Milled.   Added orange butter from New Directions, (smells like oranges) shea butter, pure orange extract. Added in some bright orange neon mica.  It didn't make it neon but it did make them a fox colour.  Perfect.  Funny how things turn out when you go.....oh?...awwww;(.....Oh!!!!  Added some gold sprinkles in the mix so they sparkle a bit.  Very citrus smelling.  For fun I cut up my last peachy tie dye soap (that was hard to do ) <sniff> and stuck them in as ears and little triangles for eyes .
                Little foxy devils
Added some sprinkles of Pink Himalayan salts.  When I spooned the soap in the mold at half full I really pressed it into the mold then I sprinkled salts on that first layer.  Continued to spoon the rest of the soap into each cavity and really smoothed it down. Then sprinkled the top with more salts.   Have fun with this one Valentine ! Can't wait to remove them tomorrow. The waiting is the hard part. And with the magic of a good sleep Voila,  here they are

Love how the pointy ears allow them to stand up!  I didn't even think about that when I did it. Ingenious if I say so myself.  After washing with it you can sit it up on it's ears and the water will drain off them.  Oooooo I love making soap.  Foxy Roxy Orange, Valentine.  I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy sharing.

Valentines Soap Red Hot Cinnamon

Turned out fantastic! Crock Pot French Milled fragranced with red hot cinnamon, frosting fragranced wisteria lilac, colours magenta lab colour, pearl white lab colour white titanium dioxide. Silicone mold 49 cent thrift store find. Gold mica for a bit of dazzle.  Don't eat them.... That's what I told my son lol
I used up soap trimmings I've been saving a mix match of soaps past (never throw them out) put in crock pot added some glycerin, half and half cream, lab colour, fragrance.  Let the crock pot do it's thing.  When it's melted (always go back and give it a stir) pour into mold and push it in.  I sprinkled blueberry tea leaves on top.  I had finely ground shea butter coconut shavings put that into crock pot added white TD and pearl white lab colour.  Added in fine blueberry tea leaves I chopped in my grinder,  heated till just clumpy (took like 5 mins) spooned it on top of the red heart spread it out and sprinkled gold mica on top  let it sit 10 hours and voila!  Gorgeous! Thanks for reading and happy soaping!

Secret Santa

Christmas Cheer

I had lots of bubble bars and bath bombs that aren't a great seller unfortunately and so instead of being stuck with Christmas stock I made them into gift sets. Bought some pretty Christmas bags and wrapped them in tissue paper.  I placed an add on Thunder Bay buy and sell FB page for ten people who were needing a gift they couldn't afford.  There were so many responders.  Wish I had more.   What better way to promote my soap by giving to people in need as well. I spent my day delivering gifts to strangers and got so many thank yous and hugs and well wishes.  I cried lots with people too.  I've never done this before what a great feeling.  New friends and Christmas Blessings.  A bit of Gods work.  Nature's Touch would Ike to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support this past year and to wish a  Merry Christmas to all.  Remember it's about love, not gifts, and most of all the celebration of the birth of my Saviour The Lord Jesus Christ.  I loved doing this and will make it a new tradition from now on. Here's the packages.
I did 11 deliveries today. One lady I made her a soap bag the red one for her daughter.   I squeezed one more bag in for her she sounded so sad.   Here's what they got
And I threw in some older soaps too!  Santa Came!! Merry Christmas everyone to you and your families I hope this season brings you love and peace.  Thanks for reading.

Wierd

Have you ever seen soap like this?!! These are supposed to be the black Egyptian Bar.    I purchased activated charcoal from Kelly's Nutrition House  and made my bars as usual but when I took it out of it's mold they were grey.  When I added the charcoal to the batch the soap was black.  I was sooo dissappointed at the fact.  I sold them anyways as it had all the same benifits of the skin repair bar.  Wow,  after three months this is how it looks.  It's still bubbly and silky like it should be but look at the characteristics .  I'm sitting here thinking Fred Flintstone LOL.  But really how KOOL!!!   That's the fun thing about soap you never know.  I love it.  I have to make these again on purpose.  Maybe call it Bam Bam !!! Caveman series, or Bed Rock ?  Wilma!!!!! Well there we have it lmao thanks for looking.
I only have these three left out of the sixty I made.  Not bad. Great Bar of Soap indeed.
