Lavender Lemon Thyme

Finished product perfect !!!!

Step by step.  Lavender buds from Saffire Blue, and a French Green clay.  Naturally dried lemongrass and lemon thyme from my herb garden.  The aroma just shot out of them when I ground them up in my thrift store coffee bean grinde.  I could just smell the lemon.
Fragrance for the 1/2 layer of this soap.
French green clay turned this naturally olive green.  And the fragrance was good no acceleration of trace .  Nice citrus scent from Natures Garden
Sprinkled the lemon grasses on top of the green layer.  Oh and if you are curious I used two large orange juice containers for the mould.  I let this set up a bit before the next step.
And did two of them.  I used about 1/2 cup of soap batter , neon yellow gel colour and added a dab more of the agave fragrance.  Slowly poured the yellow over the first layer of green and herbs.  I used the spatula as a guide to pour it on slow. Pretty !!!
Let the yellow set up now.  For the rest of the batch added ultramarine violet and purple gel colourant and added lavender essential oil.  I don't count drops I used a quarter of this bottle I shook it until I could smell it.  If I can smell it I think it's enough.  I'm like my grandma that way.
From Kelly's Nutrition
Dark purple ! Love the rich colour. Poured it in to both moulds again using the spatula to slowly pour it in over the yellow layer so it doesn't mix together.  Looking good !!!! Tap down too to get rid of any air bubbles.  Nice and smooth.
A tea strainer and iridescent sparkle body safe glitter.  I sprinkled it on top and sprinkled the fine ground lavender buds down the centre.  Used a skewer and poked the sparkles and buds just nicely into the top.  I spooned up the sides for a pretty textured top.  I put the two moulds  in between the canned goods to keep the sides straight.  Cartons bow if you don't.  These will be straight. One on the right is finished. You can see the difference.

Sprayed with witch hazel so no soda ash and covered with Saran Wrap and towel for the next 12-24 hours.  Can't wait to see the end results !!! This is the hard part now.  I'll post the results here when it's ready so come back !!! Thanks all for following me!!!
Nite nite for now.

Deadly Weapon & Wisteria Lilac, Sophronia's Secret

Deadly Weapon.          Wisteria Lilac sold out one day!!! I posted on FB all gone.  Here's the pretty packing
Pretty Raffia Bow and birch bark.  So pretty !!

The ripple effect is my signature bar matches my business card!  Love how that turned out.
Sophronia's Secret deep facial scrub bar.
It's been over a week or so since I've blogged.  I should be keeping more up to date with you all.  Between work, soap, and home it's difficult at times.  In any case I have made soap.  Sophronia's Secret,  Deep Cleansing Facial Bar.  I make this soap exclusive for Sophronia's Nail Salon.  Kaylan is giving some of these as samples to some athletic people.  It's nice to see my soap
getting out there !!! Beautiful birch bark wrapping tied with jute twine.  Activated charcoal, bentonite clay, olive, coconut, castor.  Kaylan is selling these like hot cakes so she tells me!!! Exciting.                  Wisteria Lilac:
Love the pink "ish" colour.  I used ultramarine violet, purple gel colour and titanium dioxide.   It's lavendery pink.  I like it, not what I wanted but it's gonna have to do.  This one is olive, coconut, new crisco w/palm, castor oil. Wisteria Lilac fragrance.  I have a head cold but my son says it smells good!  I'll take his word for it.  Left overs went into my ripple mould.  Just enough to fill them both.  Yay!!!  I have a lady wanting everything lilac.  So these are for her!  I hope you like them Lori.
And last but not least my Deadly Weapon Bar.
Canary Yellow and Coral gel colourants.  I love these colours !!! So bright and vibrant.  Same ingredients as above olive, coconut, crisco new/palm, castor oil.  Deadly Weapon Fragrance and Strawberry combined.  I am doing these for a new client Carolyn who fell in love with this as a Christmas gift.  She also has a shop in the Nor'Westor Mountain Range outside of Thunder Bay.  She's in St. Martins on the beach right now and I wanted these to be ready for her when she gets back.  And she wants to sell my soap in her shop.  Very exciting.
Brilliant like a hot sun in the tropics.  So now you see what I've been up to.  The soap kitchen has been busy. And I've had some customers drop by too and made deliveries.  Note:  I still use the milk carton I save them just for this reason.  They make a good solid size and shaped soap bar.
Love them. A good way to recycle and reuse.  And in the last note.  It's my fathers birthday today this year marks the third year that my dad passed away.  I miss him very much but know he is watching over me.  Happy Birthday Dad I Love You.  Hugs and kisses I send to you in Heaven.  Xxxooo Love Brat, aka Little Billy, aka Black Eyed Susan.  All my nicknames he gave me.  I'm still your little girl.  :))) you were not only my father you were my best friend.  Till next time.  Happy Soaping.

I dried these from my garden last fall.  Lemongrass and Lemon Thyme.  Ground them up and that brought out all the scent.  Added these to the mix.  When your bomb blows it will release into your bath.
Nice !! Love Bombs!!

Organic Whipped Body Cream

I had a request from a client wanting a natural body cream.  She wanted shea butter and Cocoa Butter incorporated into it.  I found one on Pinterest so I made it.  This has coconut oil in it too.  You gotta find the recipe because I'm
Not giving it away just yet. No fragrance the cocoa butter and shea give off the natural scent why mask it.  Found nice jars at the superstore perfect size in different colours this one is pink. Retail $12.00 jar
It's oily "ish" but soon as you rub it in your skin just drinks it.  Great for dry skin, like me.  A good 3.0 oz jar.  Enjoy
